FAQ

Q: What is the Verifier’s Dilemma?

A: A common design pattern in OP Rollup Layer2s is to have one party do some work (i.e. validate blockchain transactions) and stake a meaningful amount of tokens to ensure correct behavior by risking losing some or all of the tokens (i.e. slashing) if they are found to be cheating by checkers or verifiers.

The Verifier’s Dilemma is basically the observation that there’s no point in checking somebody’s work if you know they’re likely not going to cheat; but if you’re not going to check then they have an incentive to cheat.

Q: How has AuditX solved the Verifier’s Dilemma?

A: AuditX developed an advanced dePIN mobile network to allow millions of users to earn by running challenge nodes that verify and log blockchain transactions on many blockchains simultaneously. Before now, no app aggregated this work, so the incentives on individual blockchains were too low to make it worthwhile for checkers. By batching this work, AuditX enables Node runners to earn a safe and generous passive income while keeping Web3 safe and transparent.

Q: What are AuditX Audit Reports?

A: Until now, we all had to trust blockchains without being able to verify ourselves. Now, using AuditX Reports, anyone can check the validation proofs of any covered blockchain in real-time, making Web3 safer and more transparent for everyone.

Q: What is AuditX Node?

A: Advanced dePIN technology that distributes via token incentives the challenge/check/verify function of the blockchain across millions of connected devices to dramatically increase the transparency and integrity of the entire web3 space.

Q: What Blockchains does AuditX support?

A: AuditX has a growing list of supported blockchains that benefit from our Verify as a Service (VAAS), including leading blockchains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Near. See the full list here
